DialogWeb Help:   Table of Contents Alert Subscriptions

The Dialog Table of Contents Alerts service delivers a title list of newly available articles directly to an email address. The email address may be set up for an individual or for a wider distribution list. When the message containing the title list is received, the recipient(s) review the list and order articles by replying to the message. (Note: When ordering articles from a Table of Contents Alert email, do not use attachment replies in your email software.) When the reply message is processed the full-text article is delivered to the requester's email in-box.

To distribute the title list message, you need to set up an automatic distribution list on your company email system. The distribution list must be maintained at your site because it resides at your site.

Table of Contents Alerts let your organization use the Dialog ERA™ (Electronic Redistribution and Archiving) feature, which lowers the cost for multiple copies of the same article.
