DialogWeb Help: Quick Functions

Quick Functions is a Guided Search feature. It includes

• Favorites - links to your Dialog Alerts and search strategies. When you create an Alert or save search strategy they are added to your Favorites list. Your Address Book is also a Favorites feature. To access a specific item in your list, click the item name. Favorites is also an option on the Guided Search toolbar. When you click Favorites the Favorites page displays. The Favorites page describes each of the Guided Search features that can be included in your Favorites list. Click a Modify button to display a list of the items you have stored for a specific Favorites feature.
• Change Subaccount - a link to the Subaccount information form.
• Search Specific Databases - a text box for entering the numbers of the databases you want to use in a search. You can enter one or more databases. Use commas to separate the database numbers. You can also enter a range of databases, for example 421-423, or a range and individual database numbers, for example 421-423,430,470.
• List All Databases - a link that displays a list of all Dialog databases.
• Go to Command Search - a link that moves you from Guided Search to Command Search.
