Modifying a Targeted Search
To modify a Targeted Search

  1. On the Picklist, click Back to Search.
  2. Edit, add, or delete information from the form.
  3. Click Search to run the search using the new information.

Modifying a Dynamic Search
In Dynamic Search you can modify your search by modifying the contents of a Picklist (removing duplicate records or sorting the Picklist records), running a new search, or running a new search and combining it with an existing search set.

To modify a Picklist

  1. If appropriate, click Back to Picklist.
  2. Click Remove Duplicates to display a new Picklist with duplicate records removed
    or
    Sort the set by selecting a sort option from the drop-down list, and clicking Sort by to display a new Picklist in the specified Sort by order.

To refine a search

  1. Click Refine Search.
  2. If appropriate, select the set (s1, s2, etc.) that you want to combine with the new search.
  3. In the Search for text box, enter keywords or phrases and select a field from the drop-down list.

    If the form includes the Browse option and you want to look up a word or phrase, select an option from the Browse drop-down list and click Browse.
    For example, if you want to look up a company name, select the Company name option from the drop-down list, click Browse to display the Browse List form. In the text box, enter words that appear in the company name and click Browse. A list of companies that contain the words you entered displays. Select the company you want and click Add to Search. The search form displays with the company name in the Search for text box and Company name is selected as the In field option. Complete the rest of the form.
  4. If appropriate, select the "Search within selected Search History set" option.
  5. Click Search.
