| DialogWeb Help: Domain Access |
With Domain Access, multiple users can access DialogWeb from a single user ID. Domain Access customers are responsible for maintaining the security of the domain name and are also responsible for all charges incurred.
When logging on to DialogWeb, Domain Access users are not asked to enter a User Number or Password. They do have the option of entering a subaccount for accounting purposes. All usage is recorded under a single account number.
US customers with locations outside the United States where both domestic and international offices use the same domain name are not eligible for domain access due to file restrictions (some files on Dialog are not available for customers outside the U.S.). In addition, international customers who share a domain name with offices in multiple countries may not be eligible for domain access.
There is a one time fee to set up all users at a specific domain. Normal access charges still apply under the terms of the Service Agreement.
Domain Access customers need to have a dedicated domain name and be aware that anyone in their domain will have complete access.
To become a Domain Access user, complete the Service Agreement and the Domain Access Rider. This rider provides technical information necessary to set up Domain Access. Domain access does not affect any pricing plan that may be also agreed to the Customer and The Dialog Corporation.
