DialogWeb Help:  SET Commands

SET commands let you specify parameters, many of which alter the form of your Dialog output. When you enter a SET command, it remains in effect until you issue another SET command, modifying the parameters of a previously entered command, or until you logoff the system. You can store SET commands in your Dialog Profile. You can view your SET parameters by entering a SHOW command.

The following is a list of SET commands and their functions:

SET ADDRESS xxx Specifies an alternate mailing address to which the results of subsequent ORDER and PRINT commands will be sent. You can SET an alternate address for each different address type (email, fax, ftp, modem, postal). Then, for the non-postal address types, you must enter VIA and the address type at the end of PRINT commands:
   Example: PRINT S3/7/1-30 VIA FAX
sends the prints to the fax address you have SET. Specifies an alternate mailing address for the delivery of search results.
SET CONNECT ON Changes method of charging from DialUnits to connect time; use SET CONNECT OFF to reset.
SET COST OFF Turns OFF display of cost estimate after BEGIN and LOGOFF commands. Use SET COST ON to reset.
