items 1-50 from set S3 on mailing labels for domestic mailing. Command: pr s3/10/1-50 labels |
In some databases your search results can be printed on mailing labels. You must specify Format 10 for domestic (U.S.) mailing labels or Format 20 for international mailing labels. You must include the word LABELS at the end of the PRINT command or your output will be printed on regular paper.
Labels are printed on 8½ x 11-inch sheets and you can request a maximum of 5,000 labels in a single PRINT command. You can add an attention line to your labels. The line you include will be printed on all the labels generated by the PRINT command. To add an attention line, append attn: to the print statement, for example, pr s3/10/1-50 labels attn: Marketing Department. The text following the attn: specification is limited to 46 characters, including spaces.
