DialogWeb Help:  How Do I Order Documents and Patents?

With Dialog SourceOne you can order copies of original patents and documents.

SourceOne is available using a menu system that steps you through the ordering and delivery processes. You may order patents, by entering patent numbers, and other documents, by entering a document description. Both patents and documents may also be ordered by entering set and item numbers from your current search. For example: s1/1-3,10,15,24

Patents are delivered by email as links to documents in PDF format. Other documents can be delivered by fax, first class mail, or express delivery.

To access SourceOne:

  1. Enter ORDER at any Dialog command prompt. The system displays the SourceOne main menu.
  2. Select an option from menu.
  3. Enter order and delivery information at the system prompts.
Additional online help and rates information are available at menu prompts.

Patents and other documents can also be ordered by filling out an order form. When you click the Order option on the Command Search toolbar, a Welcome page displays in a new browser window. Click Thomson Patent Store to order patents or Document Delivery to order other documents.
