DialogWeb Help: ADDR (Alternate Address)

The ADDR (Alternate Address) feature is used with the PRINT command to direct prints to a stored address. To use the ADDR feature, enter a PRINT statement in the Command text box, followed by ADDR and an alternate address specification, for example, pr s2/5/all addr ab001.

By default your offline prints are sent to the mailing address associated with your Dialog account. However, the EDIT ADDRESS command lets you create alternate addresses for the delivery of prints. You can also create, review, and edit addresses using the Address Book.

EDIT ADDRESS
To create an address, enter edit address. The address menu first prompts you for the type of address you want to create: postal, email, fax, FTP, or modem (for SitePrints). Next, the Online Editor prompts you for the address information. You need not enter information for every prompt; required fields are indicated. To respond to a system prompt with a blank, press Enter.

To view a list of your stored addresses:

To display an alternate address, enter recall address (or recall addr) and the address code, for example, recall address ab001.

To delete an alternate address, enter release address and the address code, for example, release addr ab001.
