DialogWeb Help: Listing and Modifying Dialog Alerts

In Command Search, you can list and modify Dialog Alerts using Dialog commands or the Alerts Manager.

Command Mode
To display a list of your Dialog Alerts, enter recall alerts in the Command text box.

To display a Dialog Alert, enter recall followed by the Alert name.

To edit a Dialog Alert, enter edit followed by the Alert name. Use the Online Editor to modify your Dialog Alert.
Note: Using List/Modify in the Alerts pages is recommended for editing Dialog Alerts.

To display a list of stored alternate addresses that can be used in your PRINT statement, click Address Book.

Alerts Manager
To display a list of your Dialog Alerts

1. Click Alerts.
2. Click List Alerts. The Alerts list displays the name, date last modified, database(s), and scheduling.

To display an Alert, click the Alert name.

To edit an Alert

1. Click the Alert name.
2. On the Modify Alert form, make changes to the database list, search strategy, print commands, scheduling, naming and other options, if appropriate.
3. Click Save Changes.
