DialogWeb Help: Deleting a Dialog Alert

In Command Search, you can delete Alerts using traditional Dialog commands or the Alerts Manager.

Warning: Deleted Alerts cannot be recovered.

Command Mode
In the Command text box, enter RELEASE followed by the Alert name, for example, release acmcr.

Before you delete an Alert, you may wish to review it. To display a list of your Dialog Alerts, enter recall alerts.

To display the search strategy, scheduling, and settings of an Alert, enter RECALL followed by the Alert name, for example, recall acmcr.

To delete Alerts using the Alerts Manager

1. Click Alerts.
2. Click List Alerts to display a list of your Dialog Alerts.
3. If you know the name(s) of the Alert(s) you want to delete, select the appropriate checkbox(es) and click Delete.

Since deleted Alerts cannot be recovered, you may want to review the Alert before deleting it.

To review an Alert

1. Click the name of the Alert on the Dialog Alerts list page.
2. Review the Alert.
3. Click the browser Back button to return to the list to delete the Alert.
