DialogWeb Help:  The ADD Command

Example: Add a file to your search.
Command: add 151

The ADD command is used to add files to your current search for increased flexibility in searching across files. You can ADD one or more files to your search without erasing the search results or strategy created in your original files.

ADD is used with the REPEAT command. Once you have added files you REPEAT the search in the new files and your previous sets are regenerated to include the new files.

To ADD files to your search

  1. Enter a BEGIN command in one or more databases that contain similar fields and search terms.
  2. Enter your search term.
  3. Enter add  followed by one or more file numbers, for example, add 151,149.
  4. Enter repeat to run the search again. Your previous sets are regenerated to include the results from the ADDed files.
